BloG!

It's good to blog! Even my biostatistics subject of my course in university requires us to blog for this semester. This blog will be evaluated and full marks is 10%. We're allowed to blog on anything interesting and also post articles of newspapers and magazines on Statistics. This week our assignment is to find articles on misleading Statistics, which we think has some form of possible misuse of statistics. Happy Blogging! ;)

Unforgettable New Year Countdown

Yesterday evening, after our lectures at 6, I drove Xiang Lin, Sheau Wei back to my house to get the camera as we were heading to the city for the new year countdown celebration. As I was checking the camera, only to find out that it was in low battery. But thankfully in the end we managed to get some pictures. We decided to take the LRT to the city and it took about 1.5 hours from my home to the station.

The journey by monorail this time was the most horrible in my life! The train was so packed till we were pushed by the passengers when entering and alighting from the train. After having our dinner at the shopping mall, we went out to join the crowd to watch the concert performed by various artistes at Sungei Wang. Despite the drizzle, the whole crowd was still so enthusiastic with the entertainment. We were very fortunate as the people in the front were holding the yellow raincoat supplied by the sponsors, thus covering us from wet. Another good thing was we were standing below the KL Monorail railway, therefore safe from the rain!

After the fireworks display, the first thing we wanted to do was to get out from the place and go home! At last, we reached the station where we parked our car. As we were heading towards the car, about 3 guys were seen wondering around. We started to feel worried as we felt that they tried to follow our car behind! Phew... really thank God they didn't after that... scared me to death!

I guess this would be my first and the last countdown in the city... if anything would convince me to go again? See first!

still in Christmas atmosphere~

We are the reason

Today's Christmas production, The Kefira Show was really great! Many hearts are touched... This play will even be presented at Low Yat Plaza tomorrow night. Indeed, Christmas is a season to remember Jesus' birth 2000 years ago, whom God sent to die on the cross for the salvation of mankind. We are the reason that He gave. It's a season filled with love, giving and celebration!

Times with Families & Friends

* Transfer from Friendster Blog :)

Mid-sem break in uni has just begun! It's time to pack all my things from hostel and go home! Still home is the sweetest place.. home is where the heart is :)

Last weekend, after service, Yi Ling, sis and I decided to go to 1-Utama for shopping since it was the last day of Mega Sale Carnival. Without hesitate, I drove them there :) As we reached there, a guy was seen holding a plastic bag. I quickly followed him. Indeed, he was heading towards his car. That's the way to find parking :) We were quite happy as we managed to buy the things that we need.

I'm thankful that I'm blessed with good classmates and sisters during my form six life in high school. Really miss those times! Times of studies and facing exams only? Haha. After those hardships we'll have trips =) Hope we can come out for yum cha more often as we move on to the next stage in life.

University life is another challenging one. Especially the first semester of first year. Life in kolej (hostel) trains me to be independent and courageous :) I have always been very timid since young. Guess I have to learn not to be so fearful of tiny little things already. Really grateful to have seniors who care for all the juniors like us! The juniors are placed in various Fruit Family such as Strawberry, Watermelon, Apple, Dragon fruit and Mango families... in the family there will be seniors be Gong-gong & Po-po, uncles and aunties, and lastly we all juniors being the daddy and mummy, sons and daughters in the family! Not bad rite... Reason is to get to know one another well. Sometimes we'll gather to have dinner at the food court outside.

Lastly, not forgetting my family. Really grateful to have dad to cook at home nowadays. It's been few years since he started dominating the kitchen! Changed role with mum ady? Haha.
